For a Google Wave desperation we had to write a song about: “Boris the eccentric Bolivian botanist who inexplicably loses his beloved wife Beatrice during a game of Hide and Seek and after years of mourning this loss eventually finds solace in goat farming”. Lyrics to follow.

There once was a man named Boris
who lived in a very big forest

his dream was to make a stand
for he kinda liked green plants

but no-one in Bolivia believed him

And along came Beatrice
with a bold bun in her hair
she said:
Boris Bolivia is quite unfair

at first things were quite gay
as ye olde folk would say

hands, kissing, sitting in trees
they were town’s bees knees

and then one fateful day arrived

Beatrice suggest to go hide
while Boris would go seek
but then
Boris went quite bleak.

for one that fateful day he started crying
Beatrice was gone, this word is just for rhyming

years and years and tears and tears
fears turned into bleating

for all these years finally realized

While he was mourning Beatrice
he was always on the wrong boat
for now
Boris now loves Billy the Goat
