While is everyone is mourning the death of DJ AM, the smug asshole Noel Gallagher quit the most arrogant band Oasis. When they graced our presence at Coke Zero Fest this year I was glad to at least see them once, but they unfortunately were way past their prime.
Why everyone is making such a fuss about his leaving is just lame. Oasis stopped being relevant in the 90′s. Apart from Wonderwall, which I had the privilege to be imprinted on my brain during a serenade grade 8 initiation at my high school, I’m not a big fan.
Noel’s statement was this:
“It’s with some sadness and great relief to tell you that I quit Oasis tonight. People will write and say what they like, but I simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer.
“Apologies to all the people who bought tickets for the shows in Paris, Konstanz and Milan.”
We interrupt this post do bring you this emergency weather bulletin: “A massive smug storm has just been released from Noel’s head. We’ll keep you updated, but Paris, Konstanz and Milan will be hit the worst. Now back you Niel”.
Thank you, emergency broadcaster. I knew the air felt odd. Now let me finish this post, as it’s actually way too much to spend on Noel. I’m going to listen Blur now.
