Nothing amused me more than the recent scuffle between Black Eye Pea Will.I.Am and gossip blogger Perez Hilton.
Sometimes celebrity gossip just makes me laught at it’s absurdity. It’s silly feuds that are so sensationlized that they can be seen as gross misconduct.
To those not sure of the story, here’s the Twindie.net version of it, along with choosing silly sides, based on silly things, cause this is exactly what this whole drama is: silly.
Ok, so here is the 401…
Perez Hilton has strong opinions, that’s why he’s a blogger. Will.I.Am, is a superstar in the group Black Eyed Peas, cause he needs a lame name and moniker to fit in.
They partied at the same place or some after party (the place is not relevant), but for this story let’s make it the McDonald’s kiddies play area. After the party they argued outside about how bad the slides were and how Perez always tunes Fergie. Again something really irrelevant. They argued some more, McFlurries were thrown about (not really, but it would’ve been funny) and then Perez did the provoking and ironic thing and called Will.I.Am a “fucking faggot” and that he is not a “fucking artist”. The manager (older kids who also play at McD’s) stepped in and gave Perez a black eye (yes, you gotta love the puns!).
So, that’s the story. Now if I was to choose a side here, I would go with Perez. I abhor violence, doesn’t matter how much verbal provoking is involved. Also, I don’t like the new Black Eyed Peas song, “Boom Boom Pow”. Yes, it’s slightly catchy, but it’s one the worst hit songs I’ve heard from a popular group in years. It’s so rudimentary and cheesy that I wonder if a high school kid fiddling around with a music program could’ve done something better… probably.
